Having had some time away from my artwork to get on top of other things, I've finally made some headway with this. Hoping to finish in time for my return to the world of teaching for 4 months (when I suspect there will be no time to devote to my own creations)

Just got back from a visit to the UK to see my family. Started this whilst there (still in progress)
Needed a break from drawing, so returned to painting today. This started out as a demo piece for one of my workshops.
Spent a lot of time trying to get the angle of the head right. Still needs a lot of work to the face and scarf.
